The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed Thursday there were 3,345 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 905,995.
There are 2,174 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 465 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older.
As of 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, there were 94 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry, reported for a total of 23,413 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
This week, a total of 326,850 doses will have been allocated through February 20:
• 183,575 first doses will have been allocated this week.
• 143,275 second doses will have been allocated this week.
Local numbers
Carbon County reported 4,760 cases, 22 more since Wednesday. One more death was reported for a total of 143.
Lehigh reported 29,969 cases, 96 more since Wednesday. Three more deaths were reported for a total of 742.
Luzerne reported 54 more cases on Thursday, for a total of 24,317. Three more deaths were reported, which brings the total to 709.
Monroe County reported 9,317, 44 more cases since Wednesday. Deaths remain at 259.
Northampton reported 25,837 cases on Thursday, an increase of 143. Five more deaths have been reported for a total of 623.
Schuylkill County reported 11,812 cases, 40 more since Wednesday. One more death was reported for a total of 360.
