The Woman’s Club of Slatington is pleased to announce that Northern Lehigh High School senior Julia Wanamaker of Slatington has been chosen as their Girl of the Month for February. Julia is the daughter of Wade Wanamaker; she has a sister Shelbie and a niece Ella.

Her activities include softball for three years, soccer for one year, and basketball manager for a year. She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. As a sophomore, Julia was named Most Improved in softball. She has been a student of the month, a National Junior Honor Society member, and Homecoming Queen.

Her future plans include attending a four-year university majoring in biology. Following that, she plans to earn her doctorate in optometry, and become an optometrist.
