Since COVID-19 is making volunteering difficult, Tamaqua Area High School senior Jessica Koscak put together gift bags for Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She purchased 110 lip balms, printed 110 Valentine cards and purchased activity books.

Each gift bag had one lip balm and the card, which is an 8-by-11-inch piece of paper so they can hang it on the board in their room.

Items were placed outside the home and staff retrieved them for contactless delivery.
