State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers:
• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:23 p.m. on Jan. 12 along at the intersection of South Liberty Street and Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Donna E. Brehony, 61, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a 2013 GMC Acadia, pulled out from South Liberty Street and pulled in front of a 2018 Honda CRV driven by Amelica L. Davidheiser, 57, of Schuylkill Haven, causing a collision. No one was injured. The Honda was towed.
Brehony was cited for the crash.
• A crash was reported at 4:47 a.m. on Jan. 22 along Route 901 in Barry Township. Emily J. Sheetz, 22, of Mount Carmel, was driving a Ford Focus westbound when the vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder. She overcorrected her steering and entered the eastbound lane. The vehicle then rotated 180 degrees and struck a ditch along the berm. The vehicle then overturned on the driver’s side about 3 times before coming to rest on the passenger side.
Sheetz sustained a suspected minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention. He was cited for the crash.
• Minor injuries were reported on a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:42 a.m. on Sunday along Route 443 in Pine Grove Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brandon B. Frantz, 21, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2006 Mazda CX3 eastbound at a speed greater than was prudent and lost control. The vehicle crossed the westbound lane and struck an embankment along the berm. The Mazda then became airborne through a wooded area. Upon impact the vehicle flipped end over end twice before coming to rest in the front yard of 742 Route 443.
Frantz and three passengers all sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by Pine Grove ambulance personnel. Frantz was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
