Police investigate Weissport break-in

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Carbon County facility.

Troopers said a 41-year-old man from Lehighton reported fence around the exterior of his rental facility along White Street in Weissport, was damaged. A 42-year-old man from Nesquehoning, reported a storage unit within the property he was renting was entered with miscellaneous items taken.

Included in the items taken was assorted hand tools valued at $1,100; Craftsman toolbox with assorted hand tools valued at $400; and Playstation 2 with games, valued at $50.

The incident was reported on Jan. 11 at 6:29 p.m.
