State police at Frackville are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Sunday in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the incident took place at 2 a.m. in the unit block of North Lehigh Street. Multiple residents in the neighborhood reported hearing several gun shots outside their homes. The incident wasn’t reported to state police until seven hours later. Four spent brass pistol casings were found in the block and taken as evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
