February 1, 2003 - With no time on the clock, Lehighton’s Chris Steigerwalt sinks a free throw to lift the Indians to a 55-54 victory over Marian. The Colts force a tie with 44 seconds left on a shot by T.J. Lawrence and Lehighton holds the ball. Steigerwalt eventually drives to the basket but gets fouled as time runs out. The horn never sounds and the officials rule a pair of free throws for Steigerwalt, who only needs the first one. Danny Miller tallies a game-high 22 points and collects 11 rebounds for the Indians, coached by Jason Weaver. Ray Lenhart chips in with 15 points and nine boards. For Marian, Ed McLaughlin nets a team-high 16 points.
