Harry Wert of Lehighton was installed as president of the Carbon County Fire Police during the first meeting of the year held this week in the West End Fire Company in Palmerton.

Other officers are Jack Hoffman, Lehighton, vice president; Conrad Grob, Lehighton, secretary; Ronald Andreas, Palmerton, treasurer; and James Wagner, Lehighton, chaplain and financial secretary.

Attorney William Bayer and Dr. Marvin Snyder, both of Lehighton, were named solicitor and medical adviser, respectively.

The installing officer was Palmerton Mayor Guy Zern.
