State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following crashes:

• A two-vehicle crash happened at 6:22 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Old Route 115 and Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Frank A. Calvitti, 79, of Albrightsville, was negotiating a right turn from Meixsell Valley Road when his 2017 Nissan Altima crossed into the northbound lane and directly into the path of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, operated by Paul P. Schafer, 42, of Albrightsville, and a collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Calvitti was cited for the crash.

• A two-vehicle crash happened at 3:20 p.m. on Jan. 19 along Route 209 in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Barry W. Borger, 75, of Kunkletown, driving a 2004 Ford F250 truck, and John Roberts, 67, of Albrightsville, driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, were both northbound. Roberts was stopped and attempting to make a left turn onto Route 534 when his vehicle was struck in the rear by Borger’s truck.

Neither driver was injured but a passenger with Roberts, Linda Roberts, 70, same address, was taken by West End ambulance to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. The Equinox was towed.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:16 p.m. on Jan. 18 at the intersection of Hahns Dairy Road and Spruce Hollow Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Bryan J. Anderson Jr., 19, of Nottingham, Maryland, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on Spruce Hollow Road and attempted a left turn onto Hahns Dairy Road. Angela E. Heffley, 19, of Palmerton, was driving a 2017 Ford Focus westbound on Hahns Dairy Road. Her vehicle and Anderson’s collided in the intersection.

Anderson, Heffley and her passengers, Ayana S. Allen, 18, and Tiyonna K. Drummond-Kendall, 18, both of Baltimore, Maryland, were all not injured.

Anderson was cited for stop signs and yield signs.

• Another crash was reported on Wednesday at 9:19 a.m. along Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Edmundo E. Arancibia, 62, of Allentown, was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger truck westbound and negotiating a down hill left hand curve in the road. Ronald W. Prout, 72, of Lehighton, was driving a 2018 Ford F150 truck eastbound and negotiating a down hill left hand curve in the road. During that time Arancibia was traveling too fast for the snowy roadway conditions and failed to negotiate the curve. He lost control of his vehicle and entered the eastbound lane and directly into the path of Prout’s vehicle.

Prout tried to avoid a collision and attempted swerve around the Ranger but could not and the two vehicles collided.

Arancibia complained of shoulder pain but did not require immediate medical attention. Prout suffered a head laceration and was treated at the scene by Palmerton ambulance personnel. His passenger, Barbara J. Hafer-Prout, 74, of Lehighton, had a possible injury but did not require immediate medical attention. Troopers said both drivers refused medical treatment. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Arancibia was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
