The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Lehigh County

South Whitehall Township: Route 309 lane restriction for subsurface investigation between Route 22 and I-78, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Whitehall Township: Route 145/MacArthur Road lane restrictions between Grape Street and Eberhart Road, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

Monroe County

Stroudsburg Borough: I-80 westbound lane restriction between Exit 304 (Route 209) and Exit 307 (Route 191), 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

Chestnuthill Township: Old Route 115 tree cutting/removal between Route 209 and county line, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Northampton County

Lower Saucon and Williams Township: I-78 highway beautification between Exit 75 (to Route 611) and Exit 60 (Route 309), 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Bethlehem Township: Route 22 inspection between 25th street and Route 33, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Eastbound lane restriction on Monday, and westbound restriction on Tuesday.

Schuylkill County

Ryan/Blythe/New Castle townships: Laffee/Burma Road pothole patching between Valley Road and Morea Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

New Castle Township: Laffee/Burma Road brush cutting and repairing washouts between Valley Road and Route 61, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tremont Township: I-81 brush cutting between Exit 107 (Route 209) and Exit 112 (Route 25), 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
