Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008 Commander Craig Strohl, second from right, recently donated $1,000 to Project 9233 of Buffalo, New York, which hosts a body armor run annually on Memorial Day for a fallen Special Forces Operator. This year, the money raised from the event will go to the family of Nicholas Shepperty, who died last year, for a monument to commemorate the soldier.
