A Carbon County driver is facing a driving under the influence charge in Luzerne County.

State police at Hazleton said troopers made a traffic stop of a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier along Arthur Gardner Parkway, in Hazle Township at 2:50 a.m. on Jan. 5. The driver, a 32-year-old man from Weatherly, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest for DUI. Charges will be filed.
