Thanks to additional funding from the federal government, the county mental health/developmental services agency has additional money.
The state Department of Human Services has provided $23,338 to the county because of an increase in federal funds. The 2019-20 budget was $7,193,411. The MH/DS program also received $120,611 from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.
Commissioners approved a resolution approving a supplemental budget appropriation for the funds.
The resolution also discussed increased budgetary authority for the appropriate expense account.
