Schuylkill businesses cited for liquor violations

Schuylkill County businesses were cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the Pennsylvania State Police for violating the state liquor code.

• Veterans Gold Chevron Club of Coaldale, 1 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, was cited for failure to maintain records in conformity with the provisions of the liquor code. On Jan. 2, Sept. 4 and 25 and Oct. 9, the club transported malt or brewed beverages without a license.

• South Cass Citizens Fire Company, 14 Water Lane, Pottsville, for failure to operate small games of chance in conformity with the small games of chance act in that the licensee conducted unlawful raffles and unlawful weekly drawings during the period of Nov. 9, 2019, through Nov. 6, 2020.

• The Coal Mine Trap Room LLC, trading as 3rd and Goal, 2 N. Third St., Saint Clair, for failure to adhere to the conditions of the agreement entered into with the board placing additional restrictions upon the subject license during the period Oct. 13 through 28, 2020; and failure to have board-approved manager complete RAMP training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment during the period Oct. 13 to 28, 2020.

• KCT Inc., trading as Gal’s Sports Bar, 238 E. Centre St., Ashland, for failing to have board-approved manager complete RAMP training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment during the period of Oct. 19 through Nov. 10, 2020.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
