A man has died following a fire early this morning at his home in Penn Forest Township.

Carbon County Coroner Bob Miller confirmed that the deceased was a 37-year-old man who lived alone.

Miller said an autopsy was scheduled for 8 a.m. Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 3:15 this morning at 131 N. Shore Drive, Indian Mountain Lakes.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully involved dwelling fire.

Firefighters from Carbon and Monroe counties responded to the scene.

A state police fire marshal is investigating.
