State police at the Fern Ridge barracks charged three people for harassment after they responded to a fight in Chestnuthill Township at 3:41 p.m. Dec. 11.
Police said they were called to a domestic incident on the 200 block of Nestle Road in the township. At the scene police said a 31-year-old woman told them she was pushed against a wall and struck in the face by her brother’s girlfriend, a 32-year-old, who was one of the people charged.
Police said while they were responding to the scene, a second altercation took place outside the residence between the victim’s boyfriend and the victim’s brother, in which they struck each other in the face. That resulted in the two men, ages 30 and 35, being charged.
All of the parties are from Effort, police said. Police did not name them. They all declined medical evaluations.
