Multiple fire departments and emergency personnel didn’t find anyone who might have fallen through the ice at a pond in Carbon County after a search Monday.

State police responded at 4:30 p.m. to a pond near 2503 Buck Mountain Road in Lausanne Township to assist the Weatherly Fire Department with a possible victim.

The search will continue Tuesday as weather permits.

The Nesquehoning, Lehigh/Lausanne, and Lehighton fire departments along with the Lehighton Dive Team and White Haven EMS assisted.

Anyone who might have been in the area or has information is asked to call state police at Hazleton at 570-459-3890.
