A home was destroyed by fire late Saturday night in Cass Township just west of Minersville. The blaze was reported about 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Forest Lane. When firefighters from throughout Schuylkill County arrived on scene they found the two and one half story wood frame single family dwelling fully involved in flames. A second alarm was issued for additional tankers.
