The Tamaqua Salvation Army has announced its holiday distribution schedule for Angel Tree/Toys for Tots recipients continues today and will also take place Saturday.

Officials said Angel Tree/Toys for Tots recipients should follow their regularly scheduled appointment times until 4 p.m. this afternoon. For anyone who was unable to get their pickup today, they can do so Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pickups are to be made to the rear of the Salvation Army building (Rowe Street entrance).

Clients picking up food only should report to the Rowe Street entrance on Saturday at their regular times.

Parking will be prohibited from the Citizen’s Fire Company to 109 Rowe St. to allow for holiday distributions. The Army officials remind those reporting for pickups that social distancing rules will apply and masks will be necessary.
