State police at the Lehighton barracks said a covering of snow on the roadway was in part responsible for a one-vehicle crash at 10:27 a.m. Dec. 9 on Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township.

Police said the 2011 Subaru Impreza was westbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the snow covering. The vehicle crashed into a guide rail, causing non disabling damages to the driver’s side front and rear wheel panels. The driver, who was not identified, was not injured.
