Tamaqua Area School District has informed parents that there are three more positive cases of COVID-19 in our school district.

One is a student at Tamaqua Elementary School, superintendent Raymond Kinder said Friday. The other two are non-contacted students from both Tamaqua Area High School and West Penn Elementary School.

The students have been assigned to isolation.

It was determined that three additional people will need to quarantine.
