December 9, 1960 - Four Jim Thorpe players reach double figures in points to lead the Olympians to a 69-58 victory over Lehighton. Mike Cibik finishes with a team-high 20 points for Thorpe, coached by Kenny Kline. The winners use a 12-5 run at the end of the second quarter to grab a halftime lead and put the game away with a strong second half. Jimmy Borosh starts the run with four of his 13 points. The Olympians also receive 15 points from Paul Hydro, while Don Deemer contributes 13. For the Indians, Roger Zimmerman tallies a team-high 20 points.
