Lansford Elks Lodge 1337 conducted one of its most impressive ceremonies in many a year last evening in welcoming the official visit of its own Richard Forgay, District Deputy Grand Exalter Ruler.

About 80 people, including Elks dignitaries from throughout the region and state, paid tribute to the dedicated BPOE worker.

Conducting the ceremony was Lansford Exalted Ruler John Humphries, who presented Forgay a life membership to the lodge.

In his message, Forgay noted the progress of Elks through the years as he urged his brothers to carry the pledges of the lodge in their daily undertakings.
