A Panther Valley eighth-grader is doing everything possible to help out for Thanksgiving.
“We have a big Thanksgiving, me and my family,” said Chase Krynock. “I just wanted to give back to those that might not have been able to have one.”
Chase said he collects donations from many helpful people to put together “Thankful Turkey Kits” to distribute.
Krynock’s Thanksgiving kits include money for a turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, filling, corn and green beans.
“He came up with a plan one night that we have such a big Thanksgiving,” said Chase’s mother, April Krynock. “He wanted to see others at least enjoy the holiday.”
This is the second year of Chase’s project. Last year, he was able to donate 26 kits to families.
Chase and his family have been active on social media and distributed flyers to help promote the project.
