State police at Fogelsville reported on two crashes investigated by troopers on Lehigh County roadways involving area drivers.

A crash occurred at 5:16 p.m. on Nov. 13 along Kings Highway (Route 143), in Lynn Township. Troopers said Derek D. George, 31, of Lehighton, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado truck westbound when a deer entered the road and the truck struck it. There were no injuries.

The truck had to be towed.

A crash was reported on Nov. 14 at 2:51 p.m. along Route 222 in Lower Macungie Township. Troopers said Robert L. Stevenson, 73, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a 2017 Subaru Outback when he changed lanes and his vehicle struck a 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 17-year-old female from Allentown.

Stevenson and his passenger, Mary H. Mulligan, 75, of Jim Thorpe, and the teen and her 13-year-old boy r from Allentown, were all not injured. Stevenson was cited for the crash.
