Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

• The retirement of Clifford Rehrig, maintenance, effective Jan. 2, 2021. Rehrig will retire from the district after 10.75 years of service.

• The appointment of Mildred Gomez, long-term substitute high school Spanish teacher, at the substitute teacher rate days 1-30; day 31 and beyond, $50,750, effective Dec. 7, with a termination date on or about March 2, 2021.

• The appointment of Jessica Jackovitz, long-term substitute Slatington Elementary fifth-grade teacher, at the substitute teacher rate days 1-30; day 31 and beyond, $50,750, effective Oct. 5, with a termination date upon the return of a full-time teacher.

• The appointment of Shannon Jones, long-term substitute half-time middle school family/consumer science teacher, at the substitute teacher rate days 1-30; day 31 and beyond, $25,375, effective Sept. 28, with a termination date the end of the 2020-21 school year.

• The appointment of Cassandra Keiser, bookkeeper II, $30,750 (prorated) per year, effective Oct. 26.

• The appointment of Stacy Quevy, administrative secretary to the Director of Support Services and Transportation, $30,750 (prorated) per year, effective Nov. 2.

• The appointment of Dawn Nagy, cafeteria worker, $12 per hour for the 2020-21 school year, effective Nov. 10.

• Acknowledged that teacher Tayler Urban, from has completed the requirements per the Collective Bargaining Agreement for a step salary increase for the 2020-21 school year.
