The mortgage on the Christian Education Building of St. Peter’s Luther and United Church of Christ, Mantzville, will be burned by the pastors, the Rev. George P. Fetterolf, UCC, and the Rev. James W. Seifert, Lutheran, with the assistance of Building Committee Chairman Daniel Frantz, the church announced today.

The mortgage burning is the culmination of much thought and planning, begun in 1974, and realized in a building which provides a fellowship hall with stage and kitchen, seven classrooms, a choir room, a sacristy, a church office, storage areas and modern facilities.

The building, which cost more than $300,000, was dedicated on Sept. 9, 1981.
