Northwestern’s District 11 Class 4A semifinal has been canceled after its scheduled opponent, Wilson, withdrew from the tournament due to COVDI-19 related issues on Wednesday.

As a result, the third-seeded Tigers will advance to the Class 4A championship final with their opponent being the winner of the Allentown Central Catholic vs. Bethlehem Catholic semifinal contest.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wilson Area High School as they work through their tough situation,” Northwestern Athletic Director and District 11 Football Chairman Jason Zimmerman said in an email Wednesday.
