There’s a new beer being marketed in the area. Actually, though, the beer isn’t new, just the market area.

Effective yesterday, beer guzzlers could purchase Stroh’s Bohemian and light beers at selected distributors. To launch the kickoff of the Stroh’s beer sales, a press conference was held at the Schaefer Brewery, Fogelsville, where earlier this year Schaefer and Stroh’s announced a merger in which construction of a new Stroh’s brewery next to the Schaefer facility will take place.

The Stroh’s that will be marketed in the Lehigh Valley will be produced in Detroit until the Fogelsville facility is built and operational.
