This weekend we will celebrate the Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time. Readings remind

us that we may seek many things in life but we should seek first the Lord and His wisdom.

This week the parish will continue on Monday the Rite of Christian Initiation Class at 1 p.m.

Plans and scheduling for the Advent/Christmas Season is being finalized and a mailing will be sent to our

registered families prior to Thanksgiving to help our people prepare. Due to COVID-19 scheduling changes

were made and sadly some traditional events had to be canclled for this year.

December Sweepstake tickets need to be returned by Nov. 13. Next week a special

offering is asked to help offset the recent expense ($42,000) for the new rectory roof.

During the month of November we continue to pray for the faithful departed especially remembering

the 27 parishioners who were called home to the Lord during this past year. Prayer intentions for all those

who requested have been placed at the Shrine of Remembrance located at the Blessed Mother Altar.

Parish calendars and Christmas Wafers (Oplatki) are available at the rectory office during the

week between 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Father Bill continues to ask for prayers through the intercession of Father Walter Ciszek that God

will bless us with a cure for COVID-19 and restore the physical, spiritual, emotional and financial health to

our global family.
