The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following submissions by Jessica Tomon, director of Human Resources for the district.

• Hiring of professional staff – Meghan Whitney, science teacher at Pleasant Valley Middle School, salary of $45,067. Replaced Matthew Durich, who resigned in October.

• Hiring of support staff – John Grimaldi, custodian at Pleasant Valley Intermediate School, $17.84 per hour. Replaced Roland Steele.

• Change to current assignment – Susan Marcin, paraprofessional at Pleasant Valley High School to PVMS. Replaced Stephanie Foust. Christine Preston, family/consumer science teacher at PVHS to PVIS as a special-education teacher. Replaced Elizabeth Watson.

• Addition to current assignment – Bibi Parasram, substitute monitor and secretary.

• Terminations – five employees due to expired clearances. New clearances were not provided to the school district despite multiple requests.

• Supplemental contracts: Athletic – five head coach positions: Vincent Arezzi, boys lacrosse; Steve Caffrey, softball; Mark Allison, boys tennis; Toni Bush, girls lacrosse; TJ Murphy, baseball.

• Resignation – Melissa Bruckman, volleyball line judge.

• Athletic volunteer – Doug Wisser, boys basketball.

• Supplemental contracts: Athletic Non-Coaching – Gena Orlowski, spring event manager; Augie Kresge, winter event manager.

• Change to supplemental contracts – Stephen Kalbach, from freshman assistant to a junior high assistant in boys basketball, $4,800.

• Intramural – HOSA advisors at PVHS: Mark Rehrig, Jenna Wernett and Carol Patterson.
