November 6, 1952 - Fred Tiley scores a pair of touchdowns and Lansford’s defense allows just 77 yards of offense in gaining a 26-0 shutout win over Hazle Township. Tiley, who collects 54 yards on 11 carries, crashes over the goal line from a yard out in both the first and second quarters to give his team a 12-0 lead. The Panthers, coached by Johnny Chuckran, up their advantage on a 49-yard TD pass from Steve Vitek to Danny Leonard. Vitek adds a 1-yard tally in the third frame. Bernie Matta leads the ground game for the winners with 77 yards on 15 attempts.
