The winners, coached by Walt Ligenza, also force two turnovers as Tom Gill and Brad Geiger come up with interceptions. Tamaqua receives 111 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Rick Jones, who also catches four passes for 60 yards. Ed Hromyak also add a 2-yard TD run and tackles a Saint Clair player in the end zone for a safety.
