The Lehighton at North Schuylkill football game originally scheduled to be played tonight has been moved to Saturday.

“North Schuylkill is coming off a two-week shutdown because of COVID-19 and wasn’t able to get back on the field until yesterday,” said Lehighton Athletic Director Kyle Spotts. “They called us and asked if we could move the game back a day to give them an extra practice day after that long layoff.

“It’s ultimately their call because it’s their home game, but we had no problem agreeing to it. Schools have been great working with each other this year because late changes and switches have occasionally been necessary. So we were fine with moving the date of the game.”

Saturday’s game will start at 1 p.m.
