October 26, 1974 - Paul Richie scores three touchdowns to power Weatherly to a 21-6 victory over Freeland. Richie scores twice in the opening quarter, once on a 4-yard run and then again from three yards out. The second score comes shortly after the first tally as Gerard Grega recovers a loose ball on the ensuing kickoff. The Wreckers, coached by Tony Antinozzi, add some insurance in the final frame when Richie breaks free for a 52-yard TD run. The winners force five turnovers in the contest, including a fumble recovery and interception by Bruce Douglas.
