Pleasant Valley posted a win in girls soccer Saturday, while its volleyball team earned a split.
GIRLS SOCCER
Pleasant Valley-ES South
Pleasant Valley blanked East Stroudsburg South 3-0 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match.
Teah Cardoza, Aurora Cruci and Alexa Pridham all notched goals for the Bears (7-1), while Brittany Williams and Laura Babu added assists.
PV held a 21-3 edge in shots on goal.
FIELD HOCKEY
Pleasant Valley-ES South
East Stroudsburg South held off Pleasant Valley for a 3-2 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference win.
Nicole Gramberg scored a goal and added a pair of assists for the Cavaliers, who held a 12-4 edge in shots on goal.
Candyce Fougere and Jordan Kautzsch scored for the Bears, while Matti Hyland added an assist.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Pleasant Valley-PM East
Pleasant Valley split an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference doubleheader with Pocono Mountain East.
In the first contest, the Cardinals prevailed 25-12, 19-25, 22-25, 25-22, 16-14. Despite losing two starters to injury, the Bears battled back to take the second contest, 18-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-22, 15-10.
In the two matches, PV’s Lexi Womack totaled 21 kills and nine digs, while Nora Jones had 17 kills and 11 digs. Andrea Crilley added 32 assists, 29 digs, nine kills and five aces.
The Bears (6-4) also received 29 digs from Kristin Farris.
