Author David Wargo will conduct two ghost tours on Halloween night in Summit Hill.

They are at the GAR cemetery where Wargo will shares stories from his newly published book “Mysteries on the Mountain.”

Learn about the GAR’s Night Visitor, the Payroll Murders, the Mourning Field and some new tales in this special one-night event. Tour times are at 9 and 11 p.m. on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

The tour will last approximately 90 minutes and starts at the main gate of the cemetery. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of time.

Reservations are payable in advance. No walk-ups allowed.

Tickets are $15 per person. $8 of each ticket will be going to the GAR Cemetery Stone Restoration program.

Due to the nature of the location and the subject matter, children under the age of 12 are not allowed. This event will be held rain or shine. The author will be available to sign books after the tour, and books will also be available for purchase that evening while supplies last.
