State police at Hazleton reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers at Luzerne County locations.
• A two-vehicle crash occurred at 1 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the intersection of Route 924 and the Interstate 81 exit ramp in Hazle Township. Troopers said Thonya O. Umana, 22, of Hazleton, was driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 westbound on 924 while Shawn R. Kennedy, 47, of Tamaqua, was eastbound in a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. Kennedy turned and his vehicle was struck by Umana’s vehicle.
No one was injured but both vehicles were towed.
Kennedy was cited for the crash.
• A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:55 p.m. on Sept. 17 along Route 940 in Hazle Township, near the Stockton Mountain Road. Troopers said a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country van was westbound while another vehicle was being operated eastbound. The other vehicle left its lane of travel and struck the van, causing minor damages. The van driver, John J. Dancho, 73, of Weatherly, and his passengers Michele Starkey, 58, and Amanda M. Dancho, 29, both of Weatherly, were all not injured.
