CAPITA - A son, Giovanni Michael Capita, was born to Samantha and Michael Capita of Bloomsburg at 9:08 a.m. on Aug. 26 in Danville. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by siblings Gianna, 2; and Gabriella, 17.

Maternal grandparents are Kim and Gar Thomas of Lake Hauto.

Paternal grandparents are Mike and Eleanor Capita of Berwick.
