Homecoming night for the Weatherly Area High School is different this year, due to COVID-19 and school being online. This fall’s event is this Friday night.

Students and their guests must have a ticket to attend. Tickets are free, available at ticketsource.us, search for Weatherly Homecoming. Organizers are looking to limit the event to students plus one guest each, with a maximum of 250 people.

The 2020 homecoming will be held at the L&L Fire Company in Lehigh Township, north of Weatherly, from 6 to 10 p.m. Attendees must bring a face mask to wear.

There will be food, candy and beverages for sale by the Weatherly Area High School cheerleaders. At 8 p.m., the homecoming king and queen will be announced. This homecoming will also feature a movie on an outdoor screen.
