State police at the Fern Ridge barracks took a North Carolina man into custody after they learned he was wanted on a warrant out of New Jersey.
Jeremy Loving, 32, of Wilmington, was transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, after police learned of the warrant against him.
Police said they stopped him to check on his welfare as he was walking on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township. Police said Loving had no identification on his person and told police he was traveling to an unknown location.
