State police at Frackville are investigating the reported theft of a gun in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a 62-year-old man from A Street, Girardville, reported a black Marlin 22-caliber semi-automatic rifle with scope was taken from his property sometime between Aug. 14 and Sept. 21.
