September 21, 2002 - Dan Flizack completes 12-of-17 passes for 214 yards and four first-half touchdowns to lead Jim Thorpe to a convincing 48-7 victory over Bishop Hafey. Flizack connects with both Jon Young and Walter Johnson for a pair of scores. Young hauls in scoring passes of 52 and 33 yards, while Johnson catches TD tosses of 17 and 28 yards. The Olympians, coached by Mark Rosenberger, also receive a long 78-yard touchdown run from Tim Robinson. Other Thorpe players to score TDs include Chris Strohl and Ricky Streeter.
