The Pocono Mountains will be promoted nationally during the third week of September throughout many areas of the U.S., through the cooperation of the Treadway Inns Corporation.

Treadway, which is now operating Split Rock Lodge on Lake Harmony, will feature literature and general information about the Poconos in all 28 of its inns and resorts.

Leo R. Turley, innkeeper at Split Rock Lodge, said managers of each Treadway resort will have displays to call to attention the many attractions offered by the Poconos.

The promotional plans were cheered by Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau Executive Secretary John Calhoun.
