A portion of West Penn Township is without power due to an accident. The incident occurred at 7 a.m. as a driver from Reading was traveling east on Route 443 in Walker Township and lost control. His car crossed the roadway entering the north berm where it snapped off a utility pole. The man was not injured in the crash. State police at Frackville are investigating.
