While it may be the unofficial end to summer, the American Heart Association Lehigh Valley Heart Walk Digital Experience is just heating up.

The annual Heart Walk, originally set for Sept. 19 at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, was turned into a digital experience for the health and well-being of participants and sponsors.

Although Heart Walk teams will not meet in person physically, they can participate in daily challenges throughout September to get moving at home or around the neighborhood. The challenges, inspired by the original Zoo theme and local sponsors, encourage physical, mental and wellness exercises for families to be heart healthy at home.

The Heart Walk is a great way to maintain healthy habits, stay socially connected and keep up with physical activity.
