The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed Sunday that there are 691 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 139,316. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19.
No new deaths were reported since Saturday.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 21,405 resident cases of COVID-19, and 4,603 cases among employees, for a total of 26,008 at 947 distinct facilities in 61 counties. Out of our total deaths, 5,239 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities. A county breakdown can be found here.
Approximately 9,883 of our total cases are among health care workers.
One more case was reported in Carbon County, bringing the total to 430, with 28 deaths.
Lehigh County has 5,293 cases, an increase of 21, with 345 deaths.
Luzerne County has 3,882 cases, an increase of 15 cases. One more death was reported for a total of 189.
Monroe County is reporting two new cases for a total of 1,737. There are 129 deaths.
Northampton has 4,158 cases, an increase of six. There are 301 deaths.
Schuylkill County has two new cases for a total of 1009 cases and 51 deaths.
