Ronald and Janice Mahler of Lehighton are celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary. They were married by the Rev. Herr in Grace Lutheran Church.

Ron was employed by Lehigh Valley Railroad and Conrail for 41 years as a conductor-trainman. He retired in 1996. He is presently active for Lehigh Fire Co. #1 Inc. as secretary-treasurer for the house committee, doing its bookkeeping for 54 years.

He is a member of Lehighton Lodge 0621 F&AM for 50 years.

Jan was employed by Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 for 38 years as a van driver and instructional assistant. She retired in 1993. She is a member of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge #203 in Lehighton.

They are the parents of a daughter, Donna, wife of Joseph Metzger, North Carolina. They have twin grandsons, Jason and Matthew; and three great-grandchildren, Griffin, Sloan and Charlotte.
