Fire crews remained on the scene of a fire Friday morning that gutted a home in Lynn Township.
According to New Tripoli deputy fire Chief Gary Kuntz Jr., the fire department was called to the scene at 6:05 a.m. The fire at the old-style farmhouse, located at 5247 Frey Road, was fully involved.
The family who lives there was not home at the time. According to Lehigh County assessment, the house built in 1830, is owned by Jason Ray and Keena Leigh Moyer.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Kuntz said it was not evident where the fire started. A state police fire marshal has been called.
Responding to the scene to assist New Tripoli Fire Department were fire crews from Weisenberg, Germansville Tri-Clover, Fogelsville and Woodlawn’s Cascade unit. The Cetronia Ambulance Corps’ rehab unit was also called.
