A motion was made at Rush Township’s August meeting to authorize secretary Deborah DelFranco to open bids for Ye Ole Hauto Road and Keller Road Project on the date and time as indicated in the Notice to Bidders.

DelFranco was also authorized to open bids for the Ryan Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, at the date and time indicated in the Notice to Bidders.

There was also a motion to approve Resolution 2020-17 issuing a directive to the Chief of Police regarding the scheduling of officers.

July meeting minutes were also approved as well as the treasurer’s report and the municipal reports for sewer, road, Arro and Prodesign.

Supervisors comment

The Rush Township Administrative Office will be closed Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day. Monday garbage pickup will be on Tuesday and Friday garbage pickup will be on Saturday of that week.
